Philippe Scheimann studied electrical engineering
(MSc, Major: Telecom) in France then moved to Israel. He holds a M.B.A from
Theseus Institute (MBA
in Strategy, Innovation, Information and Technology). Before getting his M.B.A
in 1991, he held a position in the Planning Department of Bezeq, the Israeli
Telecommunications Corporation.
Since 1991, he has worked as a management and IT consultant for European,
Israeli and American companies and institutions.
In April 2002, Philippe co-founded Ayala Alternative Organizational Consulting
Ltd, an innovative Israeli consulting company that is focused on improving
technology and soft issues of communication between people and between companies.
Philippe has been and continues to be active in a number of Internet and telecom
related ventures working on product development, requirement management, business
model and webmarketing.
He has been consulting, teaching and giving seminars on Management, Internet,
WebMarketing and Ecommerce.
He has published a number of papers in Congresses and magazines in Israel,
Europe and in the US.
During the last 8 years, in parallel to his business activities, he has been
active as a social entrepreneur and peace activist helping in various frameworks
such as of the Negev Institute
for Sustainable Peace and Economic Development and the Institute
of World Affairs . Thanks to his technical and management skills, he co-initiated
programs, set up and maintained Virtual Communities for peace and educational
programs:Sustainable eSchool, ALLinPeace,
Budo for Peace .
It included the set up of information centers, websites and webConferences
and the enrollment and guidance of online moderators from Rheingold
Associates.
Philippe is working with Artist Yehuda Goldin organizing plastic art and martial
art activities for the community such as graffiti competitions.
Philippe is the Treasurer, Chief Technologist and Head of Israel Office of
POLITECH INSTITUTE, a European
Center of Political Technologies located in Brussels, Belgium.
He is also the general secretary of ACTIM-Israel an association funded by
Ubifrance to promote
business and technical relationships between Israel and France.
Philippe is member of the art group Light is good whose work
was part of the exhibition Lights
in the Museum Israel in 2005.
Philippe, 46, is French & Israeli and speaks fluently French, English
and Hebrew.
He lives in the center of Israel and is married with two children.
